Unfolds within the heat

Has a table all its own
With a circle of chairs
The blue umbrella
Is large in its vinyl blue
The blue umbrella
Has an emptiness
Beneath its canopy
The blue umbrella
Stands spread out
Within the heavy air
A stillness by itself
The blue umbrella
Casts its bluish shade
Within the thick sunlight
The blue umbrella
Supports its shadow
