の第2弾がリリースされた。こちらでも20周年イベントでのセットが一部含まれているという。
冒頭、Battles の “Atlas” で2000年代以降らしいと感じさせつつ、
終わりの方では LFO の “We Are Back” の IDM 以前のノリで盛り上げるなど、
振幅は広いのだが、この mix ではそれが成功している。第1弾より楽しめた。
ちなみに、Blech 20 シリーズはこれで完結するのか、
さらに続くのかは、不明だ。

BBC Radio 1 の DJ mix 番組
Essential Mix で
2010年1月23日に放送された
Four Tet (aka Kieran Hebden) の
2時間に及ぶ DJ mix だ。
放送後1週間 BBC のウェブサイトで聴くことができたもので、
それが過ぎてから SoundCloud で公開された。
Wether Report による jazz 的なインタープレイや Joyce による歌声で耳を捉えたり、
click/minimal なトラックで淡々と進行したり。
しかし、新作
There Is Love In You (Domino, WIGCD254, 2010, CD)
からのシングルカット曲 “Angel Echoes”、“Sing” を始め、
自身による remix を要所に配し、
新作のカラフルな folktronica に近いトーンで全体をまとめている。
新作の拡大版として聴くというのも興味深いだろう。
